Seeking PT/FT Personal Assistants Immediately! (Uptown Minneapolis)

The world is going through very trying times, and that doesn't exclude me from needing to recruit some wonderful folks to comprise my own crew of personal care assistants. I find myself in the midst of a huge change — several of my assistants are in the process of relocating, including my longtime assistant of 12 years. Might you be one of the dedicated and compassionate souls who wishes to step into their shoes and continue a longstanding tradition of reliability, care, and longevity?

I'm open to all sorts of folks with a variety of backgrounds, but am especially in search of those who find themselves most alive at night. My shifts include an opening for 3-4 night shifts a week, and if possible, am seeking someone who would easily fit into that lifestyle. Also I’m looking for an upwards of 6-7 day shifts a week, too.

I'm a 30 something female who uses a motorized wheelchair. I'm kind, communicative, and easy to get along with. I am looking for a dedicated, compassionate, and empathetic person. In this role you will be here as an extension of my own body, helping me with dressing, grooming, transfers, showering, using the bathroom, housekeeping, meal preparation, assisting with cat care, running errands, accompanying me to events, etc. Anything you imagine doing for yourself, you'd assist me with! Since I'm a night owl I look for those that find themselves more active at night, or at the very least, have the ability to adjust their schedule when duty calls. Shifts are typically 10:30pm-10:30am give or take depending on the day. Currently I'm looking for coverage on every Monday and Tuesday night, every other Thursday night, every Friday night, and every other Saturday night. The Thursday and Saturday shifts will occur on opposite weeks. As mentioned above, I'm also interested in recruiting for assistants to staff day shifts, too. Those will essentially be fully open, so Sunday through Monday will be needed, with an emphasis on Mondays through Thursdays. Those shifts generally start at 10:30am and end at 10:30pm.

Must be physically strong and capable of lifting 80 pounds, have a valid drivers license, an active fan of cats, and understands the importance of bringing autonomy and dignity to disabled folks.
