Certified Nursing Assistant-CNA/HHA (Hot Springs)

Stillwater Hospice of South Dakota is currently looking for a part-time (could go into full-time) CNA/HHA.

Qualifications include but are not limited to:

Experience in the delivery of health care in home settings, preferably in hospice and or home health. Individual must meet the training requirements of the state of South Dakota. Individual should demonstrate good communications skills, autonomy, organization, assertiveness, flexibility and cooperation in performing job responsibilities. Individual should also be able to establish and maintain positive relationships with customers/patients and referral sources and appropriately respond to customer requests and concerns.

Individual should expect to work between the hours of 8am-4:30pm, Mon-Fri.

Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Performing personal care needs and attending to requests promptly.

Giving/providing personal care including baths, oral hygiene, shampoos and changing bed linen as often as assigned.

Assessing and reporting on patient's condition and significant changes to Case Manager.

Provide normal range of motion and transfers/positioning as directed.
