As a Senior Engineer for John Deere Construction & Forestry located in Dubuque, IA you will develop technology solutions in the area of Obstacle Intelligence. In addition, you will:

Utilize the Integrated Systems Delivery Process (ISDP) to design, develop, and deliver solutions in the area of obstacle intelligence.

Compile and furnish necessary information to document the design solution required for building of prototypes and adoption of the design into production

Provide technical leadership to a team of product design engineers and technical support to marketing, manufacturing, quality and supply management organizations

5 or more years demonstration of being a self-directed individual with excellent organizational, root cause analysis, and problem-solving skills

5 or more years of experience working with suppliers, internal and external partners to develop and deliver effective solutions to address problems

3 or more years of experience with Enterprise Product Development Process (EPDP) or similar processes

Experience in executing projects

Proven ability to communicate complex technical issues

Strong analytical skills to break down, solve and convey complex issues to engineers in other disciplines

Ability to travel up to 25%What Makes You Stand Out:

Vehicle design experience of automation, object identification, perception sensing system (RADAR and camera)

Experience working with off-road vehicle applications

Experience with Systems Engineering tools & methodologies

Experience collecting requirements from stakeholders and making data driven decisionsEducation:

Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:
