As a Drives Design Engineer for John Deere Global Crop Harvesting located in (Silvis, Illinois), you will:

Specify, develop, and implement drivetrain or mechanical drives components and sub-systems for combine harvesters and front-end equipment.

Execute high level applications to more complex problems on drivetrain or mechanical drives sub-systems for combine harvesters and front-end equipment.

3 or more years of experience in the development or application of drivetrain or mechanical drives components and systems.

3 or more years of demonstrated development of creative, efficient, and cost-effective solutions to technical problems.

3 or more years of experience in a product development capacity.What Makes You Stand Out:

Skilled in the use of Creo Parametric, including large assembly management and Pro/Piping.

Internships, relevant course work, and/or practical experience related to drivetrain or mechanical drives components and systems for use in mobile/off-road equipment.

Demonstrated ability to trouble-shoot drives systems.

Familiarity with drivetrain component suppliers and their product offerings.

Experience with casting design.

Experience in the development of engine auxiliary drives.Education:

Ideally, you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:
