Customer Service Representative - Full Time (South Deerfield)

Position: Customer Service Representative Classification: Hourly, non-exempt

Reports to: Customer Service Manager Job Type: Full-time

Schedule: Mon-Fri, 8:00AM – 4:30PM

GENERAL PURPOSE

Pilot Precision Products, LLC in South Deerfield, MA is seeking to hire a full-time Customer Service Representative. This position collaborates with the Customer Service Manager to meet overall company objectives and enhance the customer service functions to continue to exceed our customers’ expectations. MAIN JOB TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Maintain a standard of excellence in customer service

Establish and maintain working relationships with customers

Respond promptly to inbound calls and emails with the ability to pleasantly answer questions and transfer calls to appropriate staff in a timely and efficient manner

Communicate with customers regarding inventory, pricing, delivery deadlines and any discrepancies

Accurately receive, enter and process orders from customers

Screen and greet all visitors politely, according to PPP’s current policies

Assist on special projects as needed

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, & KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS

Responsible and reliable

Commitment to customer service excellence

Excellent communication skills including the ability to listen carefully and communicate solutions verbally and in written form

Attention to detail and accuracy

Excellent Microsoft skills in Word, Excel & Outlook

1-3 years previous experience in order entry/customer service

Strong multi-tasking skills, able to prioritize duties to work efficiently

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Strong interpersonal skills

Familiarity with Epicor software preferred

Industry and manufacturing knowledge preferred

MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIREMENT

Advanced schooling beyond high school is preferred
