This combined portfolio of applications and tools are continually engineered to meet the challenges of stability, security, scalability, and speed.Compliance, Legal, Audit & Regulatory Technology (CLAR) provides technology support and development for Legal & Data Controls, Compliance Risk & Audit, Financial Crimes, Front Office and Second Line Risk, Employee Compliance, Regulator Regulations, Market Surveillance, and Regulator Change Management.This position will focus on Consumer Small Business Banking (CSBB) that supports the Independent Testing & Validation group and will lead a small team of other developers to accomplish a common goal.Position Responsibilities and Expected Outcomes:Develop and lead programs, initiatives for data quality, governance, and meta data activities
Organize and lead companywide initiatives to ensure that data quality is maintained so that data can effectively support business processes
Oversee analysis and reporting in support of regulatory requirements
Identify and recommend analysis of data quality or integrity issues
Evaluate data quality metrics and data quality audits to benchmark the state of data quality
Adhere to data governance standards and procedures
Identify new data sources and develop recommendations for assessing the quality of new data
Lead project teams and mentor less experienced staff members
Serve as relationship manager for a line of business
Consult with and provide recommendations to senior management regarding assessments of the current state of data and metadata quality within area of assigned responsibility
Represent client in cross-functional groups to develop companywide data governance strategies
Partner with groups and various levels of seniority companywide to coordinate and drive collaboration on solution design and remediation execution
Able to work in a fast-paced environment, where priorities and tasks can change frequently.
Ability to translate business requirements into technical requirements.
Strong analytical skills with ability to accurately identify complex situations and determine impacted populations.
Utilize SAS to develop ad hoc data reports
Proactively make recommendations for improvements to process and data management
Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Proven ability to work independently as well as in a group environment.
Detail oriented with effective oral and written communication skills.
Experience with mining data, reviewing the data and generating root cause analysis.
Adhere to data governance standards and procedures
Develop recommendations for optimal approaches to resolve data quality issues
Possess in depth-knowledge of business systems and data structure.
Ability to influence and create an environment that fosters collaboration and credible challenge across multiple groups
Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with multiple levels of operations team members, including senior level managers.
Required Qualifications:5+ years of Data Management, Business Analysis, Analytics, Project Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
5+ years of SAS experience
3+ years of analytics experience
Desired qualifications:1+ years of data visualization (Tableau, SAS VA, Microsoft BI etc) experience
SAS programming experience in complex data manipulations
SAS Macro Processing
Knowledge and understanding of data visualization reports/dashboardsVersion control within GitHub
Knowledge and understanding of database querying and creating ad hoc reporting results using SQL or similar querying methods
Source data from multiple sources
Provide clear documentation of code
Develop relationships with and collaborate with others to clarify and develop requirements
Produce independent populations/samples for high priority or complex control activity reviews
Knowledge and understanding of version management within GitHub
Ability to articulate complex concepts in a clear manner
Ability to clearly express ideas and proposed solutions
Ability to partner as a team member resource
Ability to take initiative, identify opportunities and implement change
Good attention to detail and accuracy skills
Good data analytical and validation skills
Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Wells Fargo data analysis experience
A BS/BA degree or higher in information technology
