Our experienced real estate team knows the Wells Fargo lines of business and supports: 7,100 sites in 35 countries, including more than 6,449 retail locations, more than 11,000 ATMs and 639 administrative sites. 85 million square feet of managed spaceThe RoleReporting to the Global Data Center Construction Executive, the Regional Data Center Construction Leader will lead physical infrastructure construction and remediation activities in existing core and regional data centers. He/she will be responsible for all regional construction efforts and will lead program and project teams for multi-million dollar construction projects. This leader must have extensive experience in data center design, construction and leading projects in a live data center environment. Other responsibilities include: Leading a diverse, talented, educated, and risk management focused team who are responsible for developing and providing products and services that strive to mitigate risk and loss, comply with applicable regulations and Wells Fargo policies and procedures Promoting a safe, secure, and ethical business environment for all employees and customers Aligning to strategic plan, business objectives and leading execution and management of all assigned building projects Routinely communicating updates to management and stakeholders, making presentations to support business objectives Maintaining expertise and knowledge specific to data center construction, applicable laws and regulations, industry benchmarking, emerging issues, internal guidelines and policies, services, and business processesThe CandidateLeadership, integrity, and credibility will be determining factors in selection. Successful candidates will be articulate and possess a demonstrated leadership capability; they will be impressive in their inter-personal effectiveness and with regard to their accomplishments. These roles require leaders with strong relationship management, influencing, vision, and execution skills. A key differentiator will be the ability to understand and operate successfully in a complex, heavily matrixed corporate environment. These roles require a sense of urgency, passion for results, and personal accountability for achievement.The successful candidate will work closely with other key stakeholders and leaders across the company in the development and execution of risk management strategies. Accordingly, critical success factors will include the ability to develop partnerships with many business and functional areas.The candidate must have strong construction management experience in developing scope, design development, and execution within cost/schedule constrains while ensuring a high level of risk management mindset. Strong business acumen is required to ensure the best value solutions are achieved.Required Qualifications6+ years of Construction Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

3+ years of management experience

Desired Qualifications Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, or construction management (mechanical, electrical, or civil engineering degrees preferred). Significant military training and experience in a commensurate high risk environment is a plus and may be considered in lieu of an engineering bachelor's degree Extensive experience leading Tier III & Tier IV live or new build data center construction projects; commissioning experience through Integrated Systems Testing Proven track record of successfully managing many high visibility, complex construction projects simultaneously, and managing future project workload planning. Understanding key construction management tools and methodologies: critical path scheduling, cost estimating and cash flow management, bids and contracts, and use of risk register. Experience with applicable building regulations, industry benchmarks, and relevant security/resiliency trends related to data center construction/remediation Proven ability to operate efficiently and effectively in a high-pressure time sensitive environment Ability to handle confidential material in a professional manner Ability to interact with integrity and a high level of professionalism with all levels of team members and management Ability to take on a high level of responsibility, initiative, and accountability Ability to successfully foster collaboration and results across diverse teams and build effective business and support partnerships with all levels of team members. Management skills including proven ability to execute with quality and urgency within definitive timelines for completion while balancing multiple priorities Proven leader with demonstrated experience in building and leading a teams, strong technical experts and high performing professionals. Demonstrated ability to build positive, trusting work relationships with clients, vendors, peers and partners Excellent and proactive consulting, collaborative, influencing and partnering abilities with business partners while exhibiting strong diplomacy skills Leader capable of attracting, mentoring, retaining and promoting talented and productive staff.
