Housekeeper/Guest Room Attendant

The Bradstan Boutique Hotel at The Eldred Preserve is looking for a full/part-time Housekeeper/Guest Room Attendant to assist and manage all aspects of upkeep, cleaning, and sanitizing of all public areas and guest rooms. The Bradstan Boutique Hotel offers 28 luxury accommodations in the Sullivan Catskills, filled with breathtaking nature at every turn.

The Housekeeper/Guest Room Attendant will work an 8-hour day. The applicant must be able to work weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities:

-Performs cleaning duties in all guest areas, rooms, and back of house.

-Consistently offers professional, friendly, and engaging service.

-Ensures housekeeping departmental standards are followed.

-Responds timely to guests’ special requests for miscellaneous items like pillows, extra towels, toiletries, etc.

-Maintains inventory of necessary supplies.

-Reports necessary maintenance items.

-Follows departmental policies and procedures.

-Follows all safety and sanitation policies.

-Assists other departments when needed to ensure optimum service to guests.

-Performs additional duties as needed. (Laundry)

Qualifications / Skills:

-Proficient communication and organizational skills required

-Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities

-Highly responsible + reliable

-Ability to work cooperatively as part of a team

Education, Experience + Licensing Requirements:

-High school diploma, GED, or equivalent

-Previous housekeeping experience a must

-Valid driver’s license

-Familiarity with Radio Frequency (RF) equipment preferred

-Able to work with a tablet or other electronics
