As a Senior Electronic Design Engineer for John Deere Intelligent Solutions Group (ISG) located in Fargo, ND, you will…

Work within all phases of the engine controller product lifecycle utilizing a variety of tools and experiences for design, simulation and testing

Develop and/or evaluate possible design solutions for engine controllers to improve cost, quality and performance

Collaborate with others globally across John Deere ISG- Electronic Solutions (ES), Power Systems and Enterprise Technology Engineering Center (ETEC) to define and capture customer needs, define product requirements and develop electronic hardware solutions

5 or more years of experience in electronics hardware design including circuit design, schematics, PCB layout, product specification, modeling, simulation, etc.

5 or more years of experience comprehending microprocessor- based embedded electronic, software and mechanical packaging designs and requirements

5 or more years performing complex engineering work requiring application of standard engineering techniques, procedures and criteria in carrying out engineering tasks

5 or more years of experience making sound decisions and communicating effectively within a cross- functional organization

3 or more years of experience developing and/or executing test or analysis plans for product verification and validation

3 or more years of experience with Electromagnetic Induction (EMI) principles and design considerations/integrationWhat Makes You Stand Out:

Experience with Pspice or other circuit simulation tools

Experience with MathCAD

Experience with Mentor Graphics or other schematic capture tools

Experience with designing to harsh environmental specifications

Experience with microcontrollers

Experience with electronic control systems hardware design in diesel engine technology

Systems engineering experience

FMEA experienceEducation:

Ideally, you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:
