FX is seeking an Executive Assistant to provide administrative support to the Executive Vice President of Development. Responsibilities include heavy scheduling, tracking and logging incoming material, and answering phones.Responsibilities:Schedule meetings, answer phones, make travel arrangements and various other administrative tasks to support EVP, Development
Manage and evaluate incoming submissions of written and visual material and keep an accurate account of all materials that are submitted
Support the department and other executives as needed, this includes scheduling studio meetings, updating department records, and researching various properties and/or arenas to potentially develop into series
Serve as the liaison to other departments for information on series
Evaluate materials such as scripts, cuts, outlines, and submissions
Basic Qualifications:1+ years previous work experience at a talent agency, production company studio or network with a solid grasp of the entertainment business preferred
Strong written and verbal communication skills required
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Words, Excel and PowerPoint)
Must be highly organized, demonstrate attention to detail, and be able to multitask and handle a high-stress and high-volume atmosphere
Able to manage and disseminate tasks punctually and properly
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Must be able to keep pace in an environment with frequently changing priorities
Preferred Qualifications:2+ years previous work experience at a talent agency, production company studio or network
Knowledge and passion for entertainment and media
Required Education:Undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience
