Building Supervisor for Senior Living Condo (Reston)

Building Supervisor works closely with Manager to care for the physical building and common areas. Requirements include but are not limited to:

-Personable, Patient, Detail-oriented, and Thorough

-Supervision of custodian

-Supervision of contractors and vendors

-Troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining various building systems

- Assisting with the removal of snow and ice

- Performing minor roof, floor and plumbing repairs

- Painting and repairs

- Assisting with maintaining inventory records, incident and maintenance logs

-Periodic and annual inspections including of grounds, parking lot, garage storage areas, safety points courtyards and building exterior, and common areas

- Any other work that may be requested of the maintenance department

- Occasional on-call emergency response

- Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

- High School degree

-Associates degree or Certification desirable

- 2 Years in related field

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to do the following:

- The employee is frequently required to climb stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.

- The employee may frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds

- The employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, high places, and outside weather conditions.
