Maintenance Technician - Apartment Complex (West Wichita)

Post Road Management is looking for an energetic, reliable and honest Maintenance Tech to join our growing team!

Qualified candidates should possess the following:

Must live in or close to Wichita, KS

Ability to work ON CALL on a rotating schedule

Have own tools and be willing to acquire more

Reliable Transportation

Ability to travel to different properties

Valid and current drivers license

Ability to maintain and operate a smartphone

Clean criminal background

Be able to prioritize work and be independent

RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to, the ability to perform the following tasks at a multi-unit complex:

Apartment turnover/restoration

HVAC repair and maintenance (EPA Cert)

Basic plumbing

Basic electrical

General carpentry

Painting

Cabinet installation

Minor roof & storm drain repairs

Repair or replace hinges, doors, and windows

Patch or repair or replace floor and ceiling tiles as needed

Groundskeeping

Installing new appliances

Dealing with tenants professionally

Filling out the appropriate forms/logs

Helping our project managers

Schedule:

Monday to Friday

On Call (rotating schedule between all techs)

Experience:

Relevant: 2 years (Required)

HVAC: 1 year (Required)

Maintenance: 2 years (Preferred)

Education:

High school or equivalent

Driver's License (Required)

EPA Certification (Required)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
