This is a short-term contract / temporary opportunity in the Non-Profit field.What you get to do every dayOrganize quarterly reviews and testing with internal and external auditors

Put together Balance Sheet account reconciliations

Ad-hoc projects as necessary

Prepare monthly consolidated P& L and Balance Sheet flux analysis for management reporting

Create analysis on financial results (trends, performance metrics, benchmarks)

Participate in various department-wide initiatives

Dedication to continuously improve the automation of the accounting and reporting process

Carry out monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables (journal entries, reconciliations, reports) in compliance with GAAP

Operate with business partners to create compliance with corporate accounting policies, procedures and controls and provide support on special requests Requirements

Command of Balance Sheet Account Reconciliation

Daily Cash Receipts experience

Accounts Payable (AP) experience

Month end closings experience preferred

Aptitude for analyzing financial data and generating accurate reports in a timely manner

Observant, accurate and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Minimum 5-7 years of overall general accounting experience

Ability to effectively interact, verbally and in writing, with functional department managers

Demonstrated ability to work in a dynamic and constantly changing company environment

The ideal candidate will be highly-skilled with exceptional analytical, quantitative and social skills

Knowledgeable of ERP systems

Highly organized and self-motivated

Strong organizational skills and a proven ability to meet deadlines

Self-starter, ability to identify issues and resolve problems
