SOUS CHEF TO JOIN TOP RATED INN AND EVENT VENUE IN THE CATSKILLS

Foxfire Mountain House, located in Mt. Tremper, NY is one of the top inns of the Catskills and is currently seeking an experienced and passionate Sous Chef to join our existing kitchen team. Foxfire is a leader in the ever-growing food scene in the Hudson Valley and Catskill Mountains. We have established direct relationships with the best farmers and producers in the region, have an expanding kitchen garden on property and look to continue to grow our live fire cooking, in-house baking, preserving and fermentation programs. We are continuously evolving our culinary program and are looking for a creative team member to help us with our vision. - The skills to prep and execute a la carte dinner service for hotel guests and the dining public in addition to catered events for up to 125 guests during our May-October event season.

- A need to work in a fast-paced environment with frequently changing, seasonal menus for both our restaurant and on-site events.

- Well-honed culinary skills in a broad section of disciplines.

- Stringent kitchen sanitization and organization practices.

- Strong kitchen inventory and ordering experience.

- The desire to work with a tech-savvy team that uses Google Suite to ensure clear communication between departments.
