Description:

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, configure, implement and support Enterprise endpoint security protection solutions, including Endpoint Data Lost Prevention (DLP), File Integrity Monitoring (FIM), AntivirEndpoint Detection and Response (EDR), Endpoint Management, and Security Automation.
  • Day-to-day administration of production McAfee ePO environment, including policy tuning, product upgrades, patch management and troubleshooting/resolving all technical issues.
  • Collaborate with peer Engineers and other IT&S colleagues to integrate endpoint security products with evolving technology landscape, continuously refining and tuning the endpoint security solutions to perform optimally while enhancing malware, vulnerability and threat detections.
  • Establish and maintain regular communication with primary technology vendors for support case reviews, new product feature reviews, and to build effective operational partnerships.
  • Develop & maintain robust technical documentation of existing & newly created solutions.
  • Maintain knowledgebase documentation to enable effective support of endpoint security products and solutions by Service Desk and Deskside Services colleagues.
  • Work with hardware and software vendors to identify and remediate compatibility issues with endpoint security products.
  • Provide 3rd level technical support for end-user break/fix and request fulfillment activities as-needed.
  • Establish and maintain a partnership with technical colleagues from the Information Security department in order to seek inputs and expertise regarding collaborative approaches to solving complex IT security challenges.
  • Automate administration routines using scripts and approved tools, and work towards simplification of the overall endpoint security infrastructure to minimize support complexity and costs.
  • Continuously remediate security vulnerabilities and patch systems in accordance with Change Management procedures.
  • Work collaboratively with infrastructure teams and other technology domain experts to ensure endpoint protection coverage and performance at all times (Windows, VMware, Linux, Apple Mac, NetApp, Exchange, etc.).
  • Research, test and evaluate new products, capabilities and functionalities associated with endpoint protection solutions for all technology domains for which this role has responsibility, working directly with manager for prioritization of research agenda.
  • Participate in on-call rotation for support outside of working hours (occasional nights and weekends).

Knowledge and Skill Requirements
  • Prior direct experience administering McAfee ePolicy Orchestrator (ePO) and McAfee Endpoint Security is required.
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Minimum 4 years Enterprise IT experience in a large multi-location company.
  • Minimum 4 years Windows Operating System experience (intermediate-to-advanced skills required)
  • Minimum 2 years scripting and automation experience (PowerShell preferred).
  • Prior experience with Active Directory, LDAP authentication and related technologies.
  • Prior experience with enterprise IT security concepts, endpoint encryption, system hardening, vulnerability and patch management.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience presenting technical solutions to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, problem resolution and root-cause analysis skills.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines as required.
