Billing Clerk

As a Billing Clerk, you will be required to review bills and perform data entry into spreadsheets and accounting software. Candidates willing to work in the Santa Maria, California area will be right for this Billing Clerk position. We are seeking ambitious individuals with strong organizational skills and a high level of attention to detail and accuracy to join a focused and motivated team.Responsibilities

Evaluate billing documents and other data for accuracy and completeness, obtain missing or correct data when necessary

Examine, evaluate, and process invoices or bills for services rendered

Operate closely with other functional teams to certify data consistency and excellence

Assist customers with inquiries

Requirements

Bachelor's (BA/BS) degree in accounting or finance- Excellent oral and written communications skills

Prior experience working with spreadsheets, internet applications and ERP systems

Foundational knowledge in billing

Experience working in Sage 100

Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Excel

Bilingual is a plus!
