Job Posting for Pastry Chef/Bakers at Boxcar Bakery

Previous kitchen/restaurant/bakery experience required. Preferred experience with any/all the following: lamination, doughs, breads, cakes, cookies, scones, muffins, decorating/finishing, morning bake off.

Starting Wage is $18/hour plus tips. Tips are shared equally among FOH and BOH. Eligible for wage increase at 6 months, 12 months and annually after 1 year.

Early Mornings and Weekends. 8-hour shifts, plus break times for eating and taking care of yourself during the workday.

Skills: Strong organizational skills, strong attention to detail, sense of urgency, ability to work independently as well as within a team where we all help each other, able to lift 50 pounds, ability to keep work area clean and tidy, ability to maintain high standards of sanitation, customer service skills are helpful when interacting with guests in the FOH, ability to work on your feet for 8 hours per day, must be able to provide, receive and implement feedback.
