Remote Lead Automation Test Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce's client, a growing Medical Device Technology Company is seeking a Remote Lead Automation Test Engineer. We are working directly with the Hiring Manager on this exclusive search assignment. The company offers a competitive compensation package including base salary, Annual bonus and Stock/RSU's. This position is 100% remote. As the Test Automation Lead, you will spearhead the test automation efforts on our clients Medical Platform. You will be responsible for technical leadership and mentorship of other test automation engineers on the team, in addition to participating in validation process and performing code reviews.Responsibilities: The Lead Automation Test Engineer will coordinate and lead the company's test automation initiatives by developing automation strategy and participating in testing and validation activities Create a testing strategy given a regulatory context and environment Lead a small offshore team Design/architect test automation frameworks from scratch for web, desktop, mobile, API and performance testing Identify the scope of the testing based on the requirements Develop custom reusable test automation libraries Design, develop and maintain automated regression suite Support multiple testing efforts simultaneously The Lead Automation Test Engineer will respond to technical queries, document planning activities, coordinate offshore activities, build work plan and Visio diagrams Conducts research, recommends new tools, techniques and methodologies needed to enhance productivity and qualityREQUIREMENTS: BS or MS in Computer Science or similar field or equivalent work experience 7-10+ years of Automation Test experience Must have a strong track record of providing test automation initiatives and strategic direction Experience in leading and managing automation test projects and teams Knowledge in Object oriented programming concepts and experience in programming in Java or C# Experience in designing and architecting test automation frameworks for web, desktop, mobile and API applications from scratch Experience with BDD's such as any of the following: Cucumber, SpecFlow, Behave, JBehave, Lettuce, Concordian, etc. Experience with either Java or C# programming; Would like to have strengths with one or the other programming languages with at least exposure to the other one Scaling Test Infrastructure experience is desired in order to scale test infrastructure as the needs of the organization grow Experience working in a regulatory environment such as Medical Device, Healthcare, Pharmaceutical, Financial Services, Automotive, etc. Experience in tools such in Selenium Experience with Automated Mobile Application Testing Frameworks such as Appium, Calabash, Ranorex or Robotium is a plus Experience with web service technology such as XML, REST, SOAP Experience working with various source code and CI/CD management tools (e.g., Jenkins, DevOps, Git, Bitbucket) Experience in building automation framework from scratch Team lead experience with offshore and/or onshore teams Docker, Azure Cloud experience a plus Performance testing and JMeter a plus Experience or familiarity with Rest Assured is plusKforce is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
