Non Profit Hilo Cat Rescue - Animal Caregiver & Cleaning (Hilo)

Hilo Cat Rescue is looking for a self contracted cleaning and animal caregiver person. Must love and be experienced with cats and dogs, be energetic, in good physical condition, flexible with positive attitude. Job requires animal care, vacuuming/mopping/laundry, walking dogs every day. Must be able to bend down, lift up to 35 pounds occasionally and have attention to detail and organization as a variety of tasks are required. We have systems in place that are efficient that one is expected to learn. This position starts with 2 days per week, but can work into 3 - 4 days per week. Must have reliable transportation & live in or near Hilo. You may be asked to substitute for another worker occasionally. Must have reliable phone service and be easily contacted. Two work related references are required before interview - no references, no interview. Please email them with your request for interview and/or any questions you may have. We are very busy and try to answer emails asap but could be a day or two. After training period of 3- 4 days hourly pay is $10.25 to start
