Type of Requisition: RegularClearance Level Must Be Able to Obtain: NonePublic Trust/Other Required: NACI (T1)Job Family: Emergency ManagementGDIT has an opportunity for a Planner/Response Coordinator that will also provide Tech Support for response tools (Vaccine Finder) to join our team supporting the Pandemic Preparedness Coordination Unit (PPCU) at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) .Response coordinators are assigned to Incident Management System (IMS) leadership teams with the responsibility to coordinate, organize, and manage team activities as well as communications. Coordinators are responsible for a variety of critical tasks to assure the operational needs of a team.In this role the individual will also provide project coordination and support forCDC's Vaccines.gov (powered by VaccineFinder) program. The individual will also be expected to learn, understand, and support additional response tools such as TIM (Text Illness Monitoring).This position is for fulltime employment. Telework work is authorized with scheduled times for work on the Roybal Campus located in Atlanta, Georgia as coordinated with the team lead and client.RESPONSIBILITIESSynchronize a variety of team activities to include the operational tempo, support requirements, personnel deployments, and ensuring leadership is appraised of all relevant communications and assigned tasks.

Manage and triage assigned functional Outlook mailbox(s) and MS Teams site(s) in accordance with established standard operating procedures to include requests for information/actions and ensuring all relevant stakeholders are kept informed.

Coordinate the specific four key functions of operations, task tracking, staffing, and clearance.

Operations support IMS leadership at either the task force or team level; coordinate requirements and synchronize actions as needed; typically will manage a functional mailbox on behalf of the task force or team.

Formal Task Tracking of all assigned tasks from a variety of sources from initial assignment to conclusion along with completion documentation.

The formal staffing process involves the use of the CDC approved automation system, current statues of all personnel assigned to the team, onboarding of new individuals, pending departures, and identification of gaps for resolution.

Formal document clearance process includes understanding of both the importance of properly cleared documents and how to operate within the clearance process.

Communicate effectively with leadership ensuring the best support possible of the team lead and deputy(s).

Collaborate with a diverse set of stakeholders that represent functional positions within the IMS structure and external partners outside of the COVID-19 Activation to include at the Federal, state, local, territorial, and tribal jurisdictions.

Facilitate meetings with CDC leadership and external partners.

Gather system requirements.

Develop and update communication materials for Vaccines.gov users and providers.

Develop and update processes to effectively support Vaccines.gov activities.

Create and present reports on Vaccines.gov status to response leadership as requested.

Provide technical assistance to Vaccines.gov users.

Coordinate with the program vendor and other stakeholders on enhancements and other activities.

Provide data analysis (via R, SAS, or STATA) and informatics support on system data

QUALIFICATIONSRequired Skills and ExperienceMaster’s degree

5+ years of related work experience

Experience providing technical assistance in support of an IT system

Effective organization and communication skills

Experience working with/in the CDC

Must be U.S. citizen with the ability to obtain a National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) clearance

Strong organizational skills and the ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with excellent attention to detail

Desired Skill and ExperienceMasters degree in Public Health strongly preferred

3+ years in a project lead role strongly preferred

Complex project coordination, partner engagement, requirements gathering, and meeting facilitation experience

Experience with rapidly developing and implementing digital/tech and data solutions

Data analysis and reporting

Superior written and verbal skills. Must write succinctly and clearly and explain complex situations in plain English to technical and non-technical audiences

Experience supporting CDC activation activities and completion of ICS100, 200, 700, and 800 coursework
