A-1 Self Storage is seeking a Highly Motivated Individual for a Self Storage Resident Managers Position in Albuquerque, NM.
Employees must live on site in company residence. (1 bedroom upstairs apartment)
Apartment included at a minimal $50 a month fee; to include utilities!

Qualifications
Prior Self-Storage experience not necessary
Must be reliable with a good work ethic
Organized with attention to detail and follow-through a must; with a positive attitude
Self-starter with the ability to work independently and within a team
Must keep up a well-maintained property
The facility needs a motivated sales-minded individual who can increase occupancy and the revenue of this property
Excellent written and verbal communication skills a must
Excellent computer skills (must be proficient in Excel to prepare daily/weekly/monthly spreadsheets)
Must be able to multi-task with the ability to adapt to unexpected situations
Resourceful, quick, and creative thinker
Must be professional and goal-oriented with excellent customer service skills
Must have reliable transportation, valid US driver's license with active car insurance, and registration
High School Diploma Required
Responsibilities
Work hours are 8:30 am – 5:00 pm Monday thru Friday with a half hour lunch break
Full responsibility for the overall operation of including; providing outstanding customer service; assist reservation and walk-in customers (both in-person and on the telephone) in renting storage units; understanding our lease terms and fees; completing lease agreements; sell customers moving merchandise; maintain the office in a clean, orderly and professional manner; call delinquent tenants; and other duties as necessary
Ensure the appearance of the property is customer-ready by cleaning units, cleaning and mopping hallways, sweeping, removing debris, wiping windows, throwing ice melt down when it snows, etc…so that the property is safe and welcoming, with excellent curb appeal
Conduct a daily physical storage unit inspection confirming inventory availability and ensuring each unit is secure or ready to rent
Prepare rental agreements, collect rent and resolve delinquent accounts
Prepare daily Excel spreadsheets for upper management
Work other locations, if necessary
Work closely with upper management, striving to exceed all company expectations
Other duties as assigned
