Seeking An Experienced Part Time Baker (Seattle - Pike Place Market)

About Us:

We are a small dessert catering company and café in Pike Place Market. We provide croissants, cheesecakes, macarons and custom cakes among other items. We are friendly, efficient, and detail oriented.

About the Position: As a production baker, you will be responsible for assisting with our daily bake-off: mixing, baking, proofing, and finishing along with other bakery duties.

This role will report to our head baker.

This Includes:

· Mixing, shaping, filling, baking and proofing pastries and desserts according to our standards and designs.

· Hand-finishing our morning pastries.

· Assemble, bake and finish our line of baked goods according to our standards and designs.

·Preparing a variety of fillings and icings.

· Operating quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced, time-driven environment, while ensuring consistent, high quality products.

Who You Are:

· Minimum 5 years experience as a baker/pastry position working with lamination.

· Friendly, efficient, great time management and strong team collaborator.

· Punctual and reliable.

· Must have the physical ability to carry out functions described above, which includes but not limited to: standing most of the work day, lifting >50lbs., operating commercial ovens, sheeter, mixer.

· Must have valid Food Handler’s card.
