Join our mission today.Responsibilities:Read and understand manufacturing procedures and blueprintsFollow written and verbal instructionReport any and all incidents to SupervisorPrepare work orders and data sheets for processingPerform routine and repetitive assembly operations and processes included in aircraft component assemblyHelp with problem-solving by working with engineering, management, and other cell departmentsPerform basic math calculationsMove between workstations as neededPerform rework of nonconforming componentsUse basic hand, power, and pneumatic tools and precision measuring equipmentTroubleshoot and solve basic production issues with Team Leader directionWork proactively in addressing potential issues and apply real-time problem-solving skills when working towards a resolutionActively support compliance with EH&S policies and regulatory requirementsWorking Conditions:THIS IS A SWING SHIFT POSITIONQualifications/Experience:Communicate professionally and effectivelyBe able to work in an assembly atmosphere that requires repetitive work for consecutive day.Read, write, speak and understand the English languageAbility to work overtime and varying shifts as needed to support product deliveryAbility, with or without accommodation, to perform the essential functions of assembly operationsDemonstrated regular and predictable attendanceKnowledge of manufacturing operations preferredAbility to work cooperatively with leaders, peers, customers, and others in a team environment displaying mutual trust and respectStrong written and verbal communication skills1 year of manufacturing experience preferred but not requiredAbility to work independently and in teams, take initiative and resolve issuesAbility to work and communicate professionally with all levels of the organizationEducation/Certifications:High School education or EquivalentNothing matters more to Collins Aerospace than our strong ethical and safety commitments.
