Job Description

Norco is currently seeking an individual to fill our Production Supervisor position. The Production Supervisoris responsible for overseeing the activities of the production crew. Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Ensure orders are filled and trucks are loaded properly according to schedules

  • Be familiar with all FDA procedures and requirements and ensure they are adhered to

  • Review, sign and date all pumper’s logs and other records prior to distribution

  • Review, sign and date records of cylinders hydrostatically tested on both shifts and ensure that all procedures and regulations are adhered to

  • Ensure all medical gases are filled according to procedures and regulations and all batches filled are approved prior to release

  • Ensure all bulk deliveries are reviewed and signed for

  • Hire, discipline, and terminate staff, as needed

  • Lead, train, develop and motivate department’s employees

  • Perform other tasks as assigned or necessary

Qualifications

  • Qualified in Water Jacket Hydro-testing by independent inspector or written test within 90 days of hire

  • Familiar with FDA, OSHA, DOT and other federal regulations

  • Previous knowledge of cylinders and gases

  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time

  • Ability to perform maintenance and repair on gas distribution systems used in plant

  • Ability to accuratelyenter data into computer and acquire a working knowledge of any software applications necessary to the position
