North Dakota, Fargo / moorhead 00000 Fargo / moorhead USA

Vacancy expired!

We are a well established and highly regarded carpentry contractor servicing builders and remodeling contractors across the Metro for almost 40 years.

We build about 50 custom homes a year. No two are the same. We do not do track housing. We literally stick build huge custom houses. You will learn something new almost everyday.

Framing new construction is 35% of our business. The rest is high-end remodeling. We do everything from new kitchens to new windows, to a complete remodel of office buildings or restaurants to a complete overhaul of a home's interior or exterior trim.

As previously stated, no two jobs are the same. You will learn and grow in this position, making it not just a job but a career move.

If you are an experienced carpenter that is stuck on the same crew, doing the same thing year-after-year, you need to start thinking about what is best for you. We are looking for that carpenter who is experienced and ready to move into a Lead role or into a Foreman's role, depending upon your level of experience.

Our employees are our most valuable assets. If we don't have men and women who want and need to grow and take on more responsibility, we do not grow as a company. So to grow we actively promote from within.

Any company can recognize you for what you can do and who you are. But that won't put more money into your pocket. To do that you may need to look around and see what else is out there. And if you are going to look, give us a call.

We work year-round, offer great pay, health, dental, vision, life , STD, LTD, PTO, paid holidays, direct deposit, hiring and referral bonuses, and more.

If you work too far away to commute on a daily basis consider doing what other carpenters have done. Rent a room for a place to stay during the week and go home on weekends. Most of the crews try and get their hours in by Thursday so they can have a three-day weekend, making it ideal for someone living out of town.

Applicants must possess a valid driver's license and because we are in peoples' houses you will have to pass an extensive background check. You must also pass a drug test and physical.

You can text or call Rodney any day or time up to 10:00 p.m. at 612-919-7070.

Contact us now for an interview.

Make Solid Construction your next move and the last time you ever need to look for a new job!
