JOB SUMMARY:The position leads all aspects of the forecasting process for all U.S. General & Administrative/Other Operations cost centers, in coordination with departmental managers. Develops and efficiently disburses multiple reports on a weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual basis, including a weekly scorecard used by the executive team and headcount reporting.JOB DUTIES:Works closely with various departments across the organization including (but not limited to) the Marketing/Business Development Group, Yield Management, Operations, Capital Accounting, and Tax
Coordinates creation of budgets and forecasts for the General & Administrative and other Operations functions
Conducts detailed analysis of these functions, including budget/forecast variance-to-actual results for the monthly close process
Builds and efficiently distributes monthly expense reports to internal customers
Distributes the company-wide weekly scorecard
Other routine and ad hoc financial analysis, including BPI support, business cases, quarterly earnings call support, industry competitive analysis, and identification/implementation of operational improvement opportunities

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university in Finance, Business, Accounting, Economics or related field;
5 years experience in Accounting/Finance and budgeting and forecasting;
or equivalent combination of education and experience
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:Experience efficiently managing financial or operational data with a railroad organization
Experience building relationships with key business partners
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Extensive utilization of TM1, SAP, and Business Objects
