CAD Tech

Express Employment is seeking a CAD Tech for a utility company. Job duties include:

• Updating GIS database with work order information
• Conducting basic analysis of data upon receipt to detect and resolving missing or incomplete information
• Using knowledge of basic electricity to identify possible inconsistencies in data

• Two or more years of experience with current supported versions of ESRI GIS software
• Highly accurate and detail oriented
• Understanding of electrical schematic drawings
• Understanding of basic electricity
• Problem solving skills

• Associates degree in Drafting Technology Experience using Geographic Information System
• Basic knowledge of GIS concepts, ability to update asbuilt maps with high attention to detail, and GIS editing experience
• Understanding of Civil 3D and converting from one projection to another

• Schedule is Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm
• Pay rate is $27.34/hr.
• Position starts immediately, and is estimated to end in June 2023
