Architect is responsible for designing a Hybrid Infrastructure with multi-cloud platforms. Will be responsible to maintain a high available and scalable Infrastructure with security in mind, working closely with the overall security architect for HOS
  • Responsible to define Infrastructure and Security designs for the enterprise as part of various initiatives incl. cloud adoption
  • Evaluate cloud application requirements and make architectural recommendations for implementation, deployment, and provisioning applications on AWS
  • Design a hybrid architecture using key AWS technologies (e.g., VPN, AWS Direct Connect) as well as a continuous integration and deployment process
  • Guide Cloud Engineers to build infrastructure and security architecture
  • Is responsible to design and implement automation processes for infrastructure and applications viz. Infrastructure as a Code, CI/CD pipeline
  • Clearly demonstrates experience in Security, Data Management, HA and scalable infra-architecture, DR, IAM etc.
  • Defines standard operating procedures, best practices and governance process related to Infrastructure and Security architecture
  • Participates in Technology Governance process with other architects to review technology adoption, solution implementation
Primary Competencies:
  • Has 15 years of experience in architecting infrastructure components in cloud and on-prem environment and has 5 years of experience in designing Cloud architecture
  • AWS Solutions Architect Professional certificate is a must and one Specialty certificate in any domain is a plus
  • Has experience in Networking, Data Storage Fundamentals, Security Foundations, Cloud-specific Patterns
  • Demonstrates a hands-on knowledge of IaaS, SaaS, PaaS architectures and is able to determine the right approach and services to be leveraged in cloud platform
  • Has strong experience in defining Security Policies, Access controls, SIEM tools
  • Has ability to assess security controls and policies as part of DevOps viz. Secure Code review, vulnerability tests, Penetration Tests
Secondary Competencies:We foster a culture where profiles value both specialization and look across other disciplines, essentially a “T-shaped” skill model. We expect the architect to have good understanding of secondary competencies in addition to primary/specialized skills.
  • Networking and Call Centre telephony technologies
  • Demonstrates good understanding in additional areas viz. ERP, Cloud Native and Web Technologies, Data Platforms & Analytics Solutions
  • Can contribute to design and define solutions across other value streams
  • TOGAF certification is a plus
