We are currently looking for a Member Solution Consultant who will be responsible for offering dynamic and consultative services to our members. The Member Solution Consultant will build strong and prosperous relationships with our members through dialog, active listening, and collaboration to find the services and products that best fit member needs both current and future.
What You Will Be Doing:
Acquire complete knowledge of credit union products and services
Acquire and master account service and transactional competencies
Be able to respond to member inquiries through all channels with appropriate, pro-active solutions
Open memberships and complete onboarding process
Recognize and act upon opportunities to grow the member relationship
Assist members with technical questions and be able to clearly explain processes
Collaborate with Branch team to find solutions, improve processes and support credit union core values
Conduct timely on-boarding of new memberships, recognize and act on opportunities for providing superlative service and appropriate products
Full engagement with the membership team is expected to achieve team goals and provide the membership with exceptional service
Education:
High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
Who We Are Looking For:
Minimum one (1) year within a financial institution in a teller and/or new accounts services capacity preferred.
Prior sales experience preferred.
Knowledge and experience of consumer lending regulations and underwriting strongly desired.
Knowledge of all teller functions including all aspects (routine to complex) required.
Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
Proven dependability and sound judgment skills.
Flexibility and ability to work with minimal supervision.
Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills.
Proficient knowledge of personal computer operations including Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word required.
Proficient knowledge of electronic data processing and archive system.
Proven ability to cross sell various products and services.
Physical Requirements:
Regularly required to operate a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer
Must be able to remain in a stationary position up to 75% of the time
Frequently required to position self and move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery
Must be able to detect and exchange accurate information to and from appropriate parties
Must occasionally move, transport up to 10- 25 lbs
