Duties:

Answer intake calls and represent our firm as the first person to communicate with potential clients

Work closely with attorneys to keep them informed of commitments and responsibilities

Schedule meetings via phone/in person/Zoom

Manage attorneys’ calendars

Draft letters to clients

Provide administrative support

Proofread documents for grammatical, spelling format and logical errors

Create and maintain electronic client files, and preforming routine filing

Open new client and new matter files

Correspond daily with clients, court officials and attorneys

Handle photocopying, scanning, printing and mailing

Prepare documents and letters to be recorded or filed with the court

Maintain client confidences

Qualifications:

Legal background preferred but not required

Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required

Notaries highly welcomed

Familiarity with case management software is a plus (Clio, Practice Panther, Hightail)

Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Access) Outlook, and Adobe

Self-motivated and extremely organized

Enjoy learning and taking on a challenge

Work well in a team setting

Great attention to detail

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Ability to work on site

Ability to handle confidential matters with discretion

Excellent time management skills with proven ability to meet deadlines
