We have an opening at our beautiful property located in Reno NV. We are looking for experienced leasing consultant. In order to be consider you must have leasing experience, love customer service and pay attention to detail.

Overview:

Our Leasing Consultant is the property’s sales representative whose primary duties are to greet prospects, to present professionally the features and benefits of their assigned property and properly secure lease agreements from qualified persons. Our Leasing Consultant is very service oriented and strives to make current residents feel welcome and comfortable in their property.

Duties and Responsibilities:

General: Conduct all business in accordance with company policies, procedures, Fair Housing & perform any additional duties or tasks as assigned by the Property Manager.

Marketing/Leasing:

Maintain a professional, yet friendly atmosphere in the leasing office and other areas where prospective residents and residents gather. Inspect tour routes, models and show apartments daily as stated on the Day Begin Checklist to ensure cleanliness. Greet prospective residents, determine needs and preferences, and professionally present property and specific apartments while providing features and benefits. Answer incoming phone calls in a cheerful and professional manner. Strive to maintain a high closing ratio. Maintain awareness of local market conditions and trends. Complete market surveys as needed by the Property Manager. In charge of advertising available units on social media. Design marketing flyers. Walk the apartment with the resident at or before move-in. Assist in resident retention program, resident appreciation days and special functions as requested.

Administrative:

Correctly complete all lease applications, assist with application verification and notify prospective residents of results. Correctly complete all lease paperwork including related addenda and accept rents and deposits. Prepare and create lease renewals. Complete Guest Cards on all prospects and perform follow-ups. Organize and file appropriate reports, leases and paperwork. Ensure that move-in packet/gift is complete and appropriate keys are available at move-in. Accept service requests from residents and input into system.

Physical Requirements:

Stand and walk or sit alternatively depending on specific needs of the property. Constant need to perform the following physical activities: Bend/Stoop/ Stairs Show and inspect. Constant need to perform standing and walking activities related to inspecting property and showing apartments. Constant need to perform the following physical activities: Writing/Typing Corporate, inter-office, resident communication. Lifting/Carrying (paperwork, deliveries, files, miscellaneous): 20 lbs. - 25 lbs. Rare Needless than 20 lbs. Frequent need under 10 lbs. Constant need to complete forms, read and review reports, answer a wide variety of correspondence. Detail oriented.

Requirements:

Constant need to communicate over telephone and in person with prospects, residents, vendors, corporate and resident staff. Must have valid driver’s license and automobile insurance.

Work Environment:

Indoors, frequently outdoors, all conditions.
