- The Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) at the State of Iowa is looking for a QA/business analyst to join our Application Development team.
- The ideal candidate will, under the direction of a Delivery Lead:
- understand basic fundamentals of software development process
- proactively participate in customer engagements, follow direction from lead technicians, work with customers, and participate in planning
- possess strong communication skills as well as the ability to work collaboratively with diverse business and technical teams
- Experience partnering with agile developers to write executable user stories and backlog management
- Experience as an Agile Business Analyst; strong understanding of scrum concepts and facilitating ceremonies
- Experience with QA standards, test writing and execution, and documentation
- Defining acceptance criteria and managing acceptance process with development team
- Developing and managing product backlog
- Knowledge of Iowa tax credits
- Acting as day-to-day contact for the business partner and clients
- Demonstrated experience working on multiple concurrent projects/iterations with multiple scrum teams
- The project includes existing applications written in .NET/SQL Server environment. Experience working on projects with these technologies, as well as the fundamentals of the iterative/agile methodology, are highly desired.
- Preference will be given to candidates with an application development background, story mapping, roadmaps, minimum viable releases, and backlog management.
