Find your future with us.The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) team in Oklahoma City, OK is seeking a Mid-Level Digital Capability Systems Analyst with experience utilizing 3D scanning equipment to produce costumer deliverables utilized for design recovery, design evaluation and comparison, spatial awareness, virtual environment development, and more. This digital capability serves the Oklahoma City Boeing site aircraft modernization and modification efforts by maturing the digital twin and digital thread for military and governments across the globe.The Systems Analyst will support engineering and the customer with as designed, as built, and as maintained reference data, engineering data and analysis of parts, assemblies, components, sections, and, up to the scale of, an entire aircraft or fleet of aircraft. Deliverables include, but are not limited to, post processed point clouds, polygonal mesh files (STLs), model analysis, comparison to CAD, design recovery, geometric data, and other reference and engineering data. 3D Scanning Systems Analysts are required to work in a team and directly with Boeing engineers and customers, including the US Air Force and governments across the globe. This position is expected to collaborate with Boeing enterprise metrology groups including tear down labs across the US and internationally.Position Responsibilities Include:Effectively operate 3D scanning equipment including hemispherical, arm mounted laser, handheld structured light, photogrammetry, probes, and be ready to learn new equipment as needed.

Scan parts, assemblies and other components to assist in design recovery or comparison.

Scan interior or exterior of large areas for special awareness or design reference for virtual environment modeling, design modification, or other requested needs.

Work with design engineers to assure accuracy of geometry and/or models.

Check, verify, and/or compare as designed geometry, as built geometry, and as maintained geometry to inform accuracy as well as detail variance.

Generate technical reports and provide the customer relevant and quality feedback and files to support intended outcomes.

Travel frequently in support of on-site missions.

Assist in regular maintenance, calibration, and documentation of equipment, processes, and procedures.

This position allows telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at the listed location.This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship as a condition of employment. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):Technical bachelor’s degree and typically 5 or more years’ related work experience or a Master’s degree with typically 3 or more years’ or a PhD degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

3+ years of experience using 3D scanning equipment and/or traditional measurement tools

3+ years of experience with metrology software such as Polyworks, Spatial Analyzer or Verisurf

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):Experience working with Project management skills, and ability to drive performance to plan and results

Experience with CAD modelling

Strong written and oral communication skills and interpersonal relationship skills.

Typical Education/Experience:Technical bachelor’s degree and typically 5 or more years’ related work experience or a Master’s degree with typically 3 or more years’ or a PhD degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience. A technical degree is defined as any four year degree, or greater, in a mathematic, scientific or information technology field of study.Relocation:This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.
