Our client, an American retailer that is home to four well-known family brands, is hiring for a Logistics Business Analyst to join their Global Supply Chain Operations Team! This team supports warehouse, transportation, and logistics operations with a goal for improving efficiency. This is an initial contract to hire opportunity and will require this individual to work a hybrid on-site schedule out of their distribution center in Fresno, CA a few days a week.The ideal candidate will have had previous experience supporting logistics or distribution center technology and network needs, will have strong communication skills to work with co-workers to resolve IT issues and have a solution-oriented mind-set. This role falls under the Information Technology department and would be a great opportunity for someone interested in warehouse or logistics systems. Contract Duration: 24 months contract to hire Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor's degree with previous experience in related field
- 3+ years in working with Distribution/Fulfillment Centers
- Knowledge of supply chain distribution software systems and network infrastructure
- Strong communication skills to work with coworkers on issue resolution
- Project management and process implementation experience - PREFERRED
- Building strong relationships with key stakeholders in Operations, Brand Operations, and Corporate Shared Services Center to provide functional and technical guidance to their direct reports
- Ensure timely and consistent communication regarding high priority IT issues, and drive resolution of functional and technical issues that are impacting business
- Plan and conduct analyses on distribution center IT issues and work through resolution of business problems
- Provide assistance and expertise by identifying, evaluating, and developing processes and procedures
