Ledgent Technology is partnering with an industry leading financial organization to search for a Cyber Security Engineer. This position is responsible for engineering solutions across all security functions including selection, installation, configuration, and management of security tools, development of custom scripts/programs, and automation. Provide support to and process security requests/tickets for Identity & Access Management (IAM) related to systems, applications, network, and/or cloud resources. This is a direct hire hybrid (2-3 days a week in office) position located in St. Paul. It will have a pay range of up to $120,000.

Responsibilities Include:
  • Install, configure, secure, manage, and maintain security posture
  • Process day to day identity and access request
  • Develop security automation tools to improve security process
  • Administer/manager Active Directory, Group Policy, and Organizational Resources
  • Research and Evaluate security products/solutions
  • Partner with database, application development, architect, and infrastructure to establish, implement, and engineering security processes
  • Enforce Control Requirements based on ISO 27002, NIST SP 800-53, and PCI
  • Monitor and measure security metrics
  • Investigate, document, and report on security issues and trends
  • Gather, analyze, and automate security data information
  • Perform security onboarding for relevant data sources and integration into SIEM
  • Work with to develop and maintain Security Monitoring and Visibility, Threat and Vulnerability management, and Incident Response polices

Education and Experince
  • 3 years of IT experience, financial preferred
  • Identity & Access Management
  • Windows, Linux, and Mac
  • Azure Cloud Security
  • Microsoft Defender (Office, endpoint, etc.)
  • Python 3+, Django, FastAPI, and REST
  • IDS deploying and integrating experience.
  • Experience with SEIM solutions and IAM platforms
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts to senior leadership in both written documents and presentations/briefings
  • Experience with network monitoring tools
