Skunk Works is an integral part of Lockheed's Aeronautics business area responsible for advanced systems development including conceptual design and rapid prototyping of clean sheet solutions and improvements and derivatives to existing systems. Learn more about some of the incredible things we do here: SKUNKWORKS.Will lead Production Operations activities and represented workforce to accomplish cost, schedule, and quality objectives for the ADP FORT instrumentation, wire shop prototyping, AGE shop, hydraulic shops, and functional test organization dept. 4037. Identifies and implements changes to improve cost, schedule, and quality. Ensures employee training and certifications are current. Provide a safe work environment and takes immediate action to address any unsafe conditions. Implement and enforce importance of FOD, general housekeeping, and 6S Standards. Ensures represented employees comply with defined core and program specific processes and procedures. Will interface on a daily basis with support organizations to ensure program requirements are being met. Must be pro-active, self-motivated, maintain a positive attitude, and be diplomatic. Foster a positive team environment with all personnel. Must have strong interpersonal and organizational skills, as well as strong written and verbal communication skills. Must be capable of continuously managing multiple tasks.Must be willing to work extended shifts which may include holidays and/or weekends (when required).Must be U.S. Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access. Experience managing manufacturing performance in cost, schedule, and quality termsDesired Skills: Experience in leading represented employees in a manufacturing setting Previous experience in instrumentation fabrication, wire harnesses, strain gauges, hydraulic test, and AGE systems. Statements of Work (SOW), and Basis of Estimates (BOE), and proposal compilation are a plus.
