Metal Worker (Manassas)

Automation Personnel Services is looking for Metal workers in the are of Manassas, VA

The schedules are 6:00am-4:30pm & 4:30pm -3:00am Monday to Friday & Saturday 6:00am-2:00pm & 2:00pm-10:30pm.

You must be able to rotate schedules every month

Pay Rate: $13/hour

- Must be able to lift 75 lbs constantly

- Able to stand for long periods of time

- Steel toed boots required

- Drug test

- I-9 verification

Job Description. This Individual works to a priority of Work Orders/Planning and is responsible for the fabrication of various sheet metal parts to the required size and shape for delivery to the downstream Customer or department. This can include the use of various tooling and equipment such as the CNC Brake-Formers, Manual Brake-Formers, Shears, Routers, Drop Hammers, Stretch-Formers, Hydro-Formers, Roll Formers, Punch Presses, Heat Treat Furnace and multiple hand tools.

Responsibility of Sheet Metal Fabricators/Assemblers is to follow directions from the Lead and Supervisor in order to perform their daily tasks at hand. This person should pay particular attention to all drawings and shop orders at all times as they have been known to change. Sheet Metal Fabricators/Assemblers should support their Lead and Supervisor to help move parts quickly through the shop with zero defects and help to eliminate waste.
