Lead Software Engineer, Mobile

HealthLeap is looking for a founding Lead Software Engineer skilled in React Native, preferably based in San Francisco, CA.Compensation:$120K - $200K, 3% - 5% equity (we're backed by a prominentdeep tech VC). Benefits include medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) with matching.As a HealthLeap engineer, you will be building the next-generation tech to improve global health through better nutrition. Malnutrition in hospitals worsens health outcomes for nearly all sick patients and is associated with a 3-5x increase in mortality during a hospital stay. It affects 30-50% of patients, but only 5% are diagnosed.Our first product is a smart mobile assistant to help healthcare professionals better treat/prevent disease-related malnutrition.As a founding engineer, you will own the core app development work and become a leader in the engineering team as it grows. You and our CTO co-founder, will collaborate on a range of software development work, including the mobile app, integrations (e.g. EHR), data pipelines, and website.Our engineers love understanding how things work and have a strong drive to build technology that could improve the lives of millions.
