Description:Testing and Data setup: Develops and executes software system testing and validation procedures, programming, and documentation.Reviews and understands requirements/functional designs Software/Application Architecture·Assists with the documentation and maintenance of designs for software systems/applicationsDevelopment/Coding· Develops and maintains code for small enhancements, test framework· Fixes simple defects and participates in peer code review·Follows design and coding standards and processes for QA· Develops tests, executes test cases and logs issuesJob Profile Summary The Software Systems Eng Associate (Entry level) is responsible for working on routine software systems engineering issues. Owns responsibilities but may need guidance and coaching to complete tasks. Is an individual contributor level that does not lead other employees or teams. Responsibilities: Works on problems of limited scope. Follows standard practices and procedures in analyzing situations or data from which answers can be readily obtained. Builds stable working relationships internally.? Gathers and analyzes routine data with cross functional teams in support of software for compliance.? Collaborates with functional teams (i.e. Customer Support, Sales and Finance) to create billing related user stories for engineering.? Performs routine business analysis as part of scoping, and documents the processes.? Assists engineers with automated and user testing of new features, within a limited scope.? Has a firm grasp of CS fundamentals, and at least one programming language.? Normally receives detailed instructions on all work.? Willingness to work closely across multiple cross functional teams while meeting tight timelines.
