Job DetailsWe are looking for a Cloud Specialist to join the team to directly interact with clients to help them succeed with our cloud platform and solutions and to proactively foster client relationships. The ideal match for this position will have a background in Software Engineering and/or Bioinformatics and be able to speak to the scientific aspects of our platform. Responsibilities:
  • Use critical thinking and problem-solving skills to analyze, define, and solve complex client scientific and technical concerns.
  • Provide personable and responsive support with high technical expertise to our clients
  • Develop strong interdepartmental collaborations to ensure client satisfaction and success
  • Foster client relationships
  • Understand client needs and effectively assist with product-related inquiries
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and provide high-quality resolutions to clients in a timely manner
  • Develop and maintain internal and client-facing product assets (such as online documentation, FAQs, videos, etc.)
  • Manage client engagements cases and provide feedback to the partner departments for continuous improvements in the client experience
Qualifications:
  • Degree in software engineering, computer science, or related biotechnology field or equivalent experience.
  • Fluency in at least one programming language (Python, BASH, R, Java, etc.)
  • Strong knowledge and working experience with cloud infrastructure, such as AWS and Azure
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong ability to work with cross-functional teams to identify and solve customer-related issues
  • Hands-on experience with handling and resolving complex technical issues
  • Highly proficient in the use of office products such as Google Docs, Google Sheets, and Google Slides
Bonus Points:
  • Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software (preferably, Salesforce) is strongly preferred
  • Experience in a customer-facing role is strongly preferred
  • Knowledge of the concepts of genomics and molecular biology
  • Knowledge of secondary or tertiary analysis tools and pipeline tools/development for NGS workflows
  • Knowledge of NGS and its application
  • Experience with WDL/CWL/Cromwell
  • Experience with Docker/Kubernetes
