As an Engineer- Product Development for John Deere Des Moines Works located in Ankeny, IA, you will:

Investigate, develop, and implement solutions to meet our cost reduction goals for the Self-Propelled Sprayer product line

Learn and understand the product, customer use and expectations to create optimized designs that meet customer needs

Manage design schedules, Bills of Material, and experimental part orders

Investigate new technologies for application in our products to improve efficiency of design and cost of design

Ability to prioritize qualification requirements from most important to least important

Experience with product design and part release process

Demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross functional team members from manufacturing, supply management, product support, marketing, and product development, as well as suppliers and customers

Experience working with the Enterprise Parts Data Management (EPDM) and SAP workflow/process
