GREENS POINT CATERING is looking for chefs that have a passion for the event and food industries! Join our company and great team! We are a locally owned company that has been serving the Front Range and surrounding areas for 30 years. Our staff love and care about what they do and are constantly receiving praise from their industry peers.

The event chef is responsible for all actions regarding the food from checking it out at the GPC kitchen to cooking, presenting and replenishing for meal service and cleaning up and distributing at the end of the night. They must manage their time to ensure the food is ready on time for meal service to begin. The event chef must work alongside the event manager to guarantee the successful execution and final outcome of all events. They must also lead staff and delegate any tasks necessary. They must be able to problem solve and think on their feet if an issue with the food arises, coming to the best possible solution and executing said solution. The offsite chef will also maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment and make sure all other staff is doing the same.

Qualified candidates are;

Great communicators and can interact with clients, guests and other vendors professionally.

Very punctual and organized.

Great leaders and problem solvers.

Can multitask and stay on a timeline.

Must have a valid driver's license and good driving record so they can drive a company vehicle to events.

1-2 years experience with catering/events required.

This is a freelance position with opportunity for full time hours in the on season. Hours will vary from week to week based on events. We offer a very flexible schedule. You choose when you would like to work.
