Works with business leaders to create policies and execute corporate initiatives in regard to organization, technology and strategic efforts.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESDesigns business metrics for accountability. Meets with various business groups to understand their requirements. Business metrics may include client rankings, aggregate portfolio additions and run off, operational effectiveness measures and/or cash management measures.Lead the Data Governance function in XXX. Partner with CRE teams, the D&T teams and the executive leadership to rationalize the business contexts (trends and business strategy) and their needs for data governance.Leads the end-to-end model development process from problem identification through data gathering, analyses, gaining consensus, and implementation into business practice.Leads and manages performance measurement, reporting and campaign optimization, specifically tracking performance vs. KPI (Key Performance Indicators), ROI (Return on Investment), and consumer trends.Own the Data Governance strategy, including data quality management, data standard compliance, master data management, and data for business intelligence. Develop expert business knowledge and solutions in the above areas of focus.Establish authority across CRE and other related function such as HR and Finance to enable data sharing, quality improvement and proper data protection.Select and implement tools, utilities and processes to optimize data governance activities such as standardization, issue tracking, publication, etc.Prepares and presents results of analysis and reports along with their relative impact(s) to the business to all levels of management.Identify and prioritize data integration opportunities and propose solutions. Partner with D&T to identify and implement best practices, tools and standards for data governance/ data quality improvement.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIESProvides formal supervision to individual employees within single functional or operational area. Recommends staff recruitment, selection, promotion, advancement, corrective action and termination. Plans and monitors appropriate staffing levels and utilization of labor, including overtime. Prepares and delivers performance appraisal for staff. Mentors and coaches team members to further develop competencies. Leads by example and models behaviors that are consistent with the company's values.QUALIFICATIONSTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.EDUCATION and EXPERIENCEBachelor's degree in business administration, Information Management, MIS, Library Science, or Computer Science; advanced degree preferred.5+ years of data management related experience such as Data Analysis, Data Governance, Enterprise Information Management, Data Modelling, and Data Quality Management.Analytics experience desired, i.e. Data Visualization, Data Analytics, Data Mining, Business Intelligence, etc.Previous Project Management, Business Analytics and/or Commercial Real Estate industry and/or related experience preferred.Advanced skills in financial modeling, planning, database management/business intelligence.CERTIFICATES and/or LICENSESPMP (Project Management Professional) designation preferred.COMMUNICATION SKILLSExcellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and analytical skills. Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to customers. Ability to effectively present information. Ability to respond effectively to sensitive issues.FINANCIAL KNOWLEDGERequires advanced knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to calculate intermediate figures such as percentages, discounts, and commissions. Conducts advanced financial analysis.REASONING ABILITYAbility to comprehend, analyze, and interpret complex documents. Ability to solve problems involving several options in situations. Requires advanced analytical and quantitative skills.OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIESAdvanced skills in Microsoft Office applications, specifically Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint and Outlook (required). Experience with Power BI/ Analytics and data preparation tools is highly preferred.Advanced understanding of the following technologies: Enterprise Reporting Tool; SSRS Network and server architecture; Microsolf.NET Framework; SQL, C#.NET, ASP.NET, C+, VB.NET, Java, Technology security standards.Knowledge of SSRS, Network and Server Architecture, Microsoft .NET Framework, Project planning and coordination experience preferred.SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITYDecisions made with thorough understanding of procedures, company policies, and business practices to achieve general results and deadlines.
