HOUSEKEEPER TO JOIN INN AND EVENT VENUE IN THE CATSKILLS

Foxfire Mountain House, located in Mt. Tremper, NY is one of the top inns of the Catskills and is currently seeking to add to our housekeeping team.

Responsibilities Include:

- Carry linens, towels, toilet items, and cleaning supplies.

- Clean rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, stairways, staff areas, and other work areas so that health standards are met.

- Disinfect equipment and supplies, using germicides.

- Observe precautions required to protect hotel and guest property and report damage, theft, and found articles to supervisors.

- Empty wastebaskets and transport other trash and waste to disposal areas.

- Replenish supplies, such as drinking glasses, linens and bathroom items.

- Clean rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies, using vacuum cleaners.

- Dust and polish furniture and equipment.

- Keep storage areas and housekeeping kits well-stocked, clean, and tidy.

- Wash windows, walls, ceilings, and woodwork.

- Sweep and mop floors, using brooms and mops.

- Move and arrange furniture and turn mattresses.

- Polish silver accessories and metalwork, such as fixtures and fittings.

Schedule:

Sunday 10am-4pm

Tuesday 10am-4pm

Wednesday 10am-4pm

Additional shifts available if desired.

All Applicants Must be Fully Vaccinated for Covid-19 and have reliable transportation/driver's license
