Incumbent evangelizes the governance strategy to the company's various areas and acts as a business partner to those regarding governance efforts and needs by aligning strategic data governance goals and objectives regarding key business, IS, and IT initiatives. Incumbent assists in determining the root cause and resolution of data quality issues bringing in application stewards, custodians, and subject matter experts to prevent future occurrences and improve data processing. The incumbent leads efforts to maintain metadata, dictionaries, business and technical lineage, as well as reference data information, ensuring an understanding of the flow data within the company and strengthening the trust of the data. The incumbent is expected to serve as a coach and mentor to those with less experience.This position may involve remote or hybrid work. Minimum internet connection speeds are required for remote or hybrid work.RequirementsEducation & Experience: Bachelor's degree in Math, Science, Statistics, Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Data Science/Informatics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Health Administration, Health Information, Epidemiology, Actuarial Science or related field.Five (5) years of experience with Data Governance and/or Information Management disciplines OR Master's degree in a related field and three (3) year of Data Governance and/or Information Management disciplinesAdvanced experience with rational databases and query toolsTwo (2) years of direct experience working with claims, membership, or other healthcare data preferredComfort in managing relationships with the leadership and assuming the voice of diligencePractical experience with data governance practices, business and technology issues related to management of enterprise information assets and approaches related to data#LI#LinkedIn#DiceThis position may involve remote or hybrid work.
