Type 6+ months Contract Location New Jersey (Onsite) Business Programmer Analyst The Business Programmer Analyst (BPA) must have knowledge and experience with data conversion, data cleansing, API/Interface programming, developing program/data specifications, and validation of program/data interface and output. Experience with IMS/DB2 databases and Salesforce/Mulesoft platforms is preferred. The BPA will be responsible to the PM and will be required to perform the following activities: Meet with business and technical staff to update data mapping documentation and understand interface programming business requirements Define program/data/interface specifications for programming resources Review date and identify data cleansing needs in advance and during conversion Assist in all data conversion activities to ensure business needs are met. Prior experience with the implementation/utilization of data analysis tools to maintain both current and archival databases is preferred Perform assessment and validation of program/data output Develop data driven reports and recommendations Develop interface/file specification and assist with the implementation/testing of established interfaces/file transfers The BPA will collaborate with the PM, NJDOL, the COTS/SaaS vendor, and the business community on: Definition of business and technical programming needs throughout project lifecycle and data mapping documentation. Data Conversion activities including data cleansing, data validation and data migration Interface/File transfer file layouts based on identified business requirements t. Testing and Validation processes to ensure data accuracy and consistency; and Ensuring clear documentation is maintained for implementation, audit purposes and reusability
