A fast growing established startup in the security space that focuses on early detection and elimination of malware threats is looking to bring on a Principal Backend Python Engineer to the team. The company has just under $100M in funding and is looking to take the next step as a company as they continue to bring on new customers in this space. As a Principal Engineer, you will be working on their threat detection team to build out and scale new backend platforms while having a huge voice and impact on new greenfield projects as they continue to grow and scale the company. Required Skills & Experience
- Experience with Python or Golang coding
- Proficient with Django frameworks
- Experience with integrating API and microservices
- Proficient with algorithm creation
- Strong experience working within an AWS cloud environment
- Experience working on ETL data pipelines and using Python to produce that data
- Spark or Kafka experience
- 80% Python
