Role : Network Engineer Duration: 12+ MonthsLocation : IL ( hybrid role) Description:Responsible for maintaining operations of an organization's CCTV and PACs software. Monitors the performance of systems. Typically requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty and 4-6 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. May lead and direct the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager.This job is for an operations role - current focus is on IP Camera, Video Management Systems (VMS), and Physical Access Control Systems (PACS).Candidate should have strong knowledge in Networking and Windows, along with general knowledge of Active Directory, Storage / SAN, Automation / Orchestration.Vendors we use are Axis Cameras (Axis Communications), Milestone XProtect (Milestone Systems), Lenel OnGuardRequires strong written and verbal communication skillsKnowledge of powershell, python, and cloud technology (AWS) preferred
