Our client has an immediate need for a Software Engineer to join their development team and work with cutting-edge technologies for IT. The role will be predominantly working in a full-stack development function creating APIs, developing new web and mobile features and applications, implementing automation, integrating databases, and more! We're looking for someone who has an interest in learning Java, modern front-end and mobile tools, databases, and Agile processes. The team wants someone who is collaborative and able to take initiative starting on new projects while working with a collaborative team to support you. Responsibilities:- Develop code in Java for full-stack projects
- Demonstrate an ability and solid work ethic to perform technical tasks including analysis, design, coding, debugging, and implementation of software applications
- Collaborate with the development team periodically
- Focus on modernizing their internal systems working largely with web, mobile, and database platforms
- Assist in performing unit and integration testing, present final test results, and obtain agreement and approval
- Write new programs or create modifications to existing applications as necessary based on project requirements
- Ability to work fully remote from your home office
- Work with a wide-array of newer technologies: Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, Kotlin, Swift, SQL, and more
Qualifications:- Ability to communicate effectively to multiple teams
- Knowledge of Java
- Knowledge of front-end technologies
- Some experience working with software development
- Software Engineering knowledge and understanding of common terminology
- Ability to work fully remote
- MUST be a or holder who can work on W-2
