THE JOB This is a Sr. Insights Manager role and will work closely with the Marketing Strategy and Marketing Innovation team to share insights, develop net new data assets, and model data that will enable data-driven decisions. As a Sr. Insights Manager your roles and responsibilities will include:
- Demonstrate insights knowledge and people understanding to drive business growth
- Have a complete understanding of customer needs both existing and potential and use that knowledge to advocate for and drive delivery of studies and services that enable our peers and stakeholders.
- Understand complex business problems across business units, customer segments and product lines to build hypotheses and translate this into data collection and analysis requirements and identify substantial insights
- Have a full understanding of insight tools and methodologies to identify, develop and execute offerings with excellence. Continuously innovate on CMI methodologies
- Collaborate with key functions (shopper insights, consumer insights, category management, innovation) to define business issues, research objectives, and indicated actions.
- Lead analysis and reporting of digital commerce business results.
- Oversee planning and execution of best-in-class strategic research to uncover foundational/groundbreaking knowledge around category questions or business needs for a broad set of CMI partners
- Communicate research / analysis findings with commercial team and management effectively
- Able to carry out daily communication with research suppliers and closely follow-up issues/requests
- Influence future business direction and strategy with strong, forward-looking insight.
- Work cross functionally with peers/colleagues locally and globally to support training, best practices, and shared opportunities
- Based on the evidence, make recommendations to leadership and stakeholders to support strategies and drive decisions
- Manage Analytics research budget for responsible categories and project plan throughout the year
- Be able to draw simple and insightful conclusions from qualitative and quantitative data
- Proactively run and/or follow-up market analysis with recommendation related to specific issues
- Establish partnerships cross functionally with peers/colleagues locally and globally to support training, standard methodologies, and shared opportunities
- Applies expertise and thinks creatively to address unique or ambiguous situations and to find solutions to problems that can be complex and non-routine
- You are comfortable conveying technical concepts to non-technical business stakeholders
- You are able to clearly and dynamically translate information into impactful insights to technical and non-technical audiences
- You have curiosity to take ambiguous problems and tackle them to achieve hypothesis-driven results
- You have the ability to balance multiple projects at once and deliver projects independently
- Proven leader in the Insights space with 5+ years of experience working in Insights.
- Bachelor s degree in a relevant field
- Knowledge of advanced insight methodologies such as experimentation and testing, competitive analysis, surveys and market research
- Experience working with cross functional teams.
- Master s or PhD in relevant field (preferred)
